The Government of Jharkhand has launched Petrol Subsidy Scheme on 26 January 2022 in order to provide subsidy on petrol. For securing the interests of ration card holders, Petrol Subsidy Scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister Hemant Soren from the Dumka. A target of covering 59 lakhs of applicants has been fixed by the Government. Only those applicants can apply who have 2 wheeler vehicle. Subsidy will be allocated on the filling of 10 liters of petrol.

Jharkhand Petrol Subsidy Scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister for the ration card holders. Subsidy will be provided on Rs. 25/L of petrol. Amount of benefit will be transferred through the mode of Direct Benefit Transfer. Any kind of ration card will be used for making registration for this scheme.

Objectives Of Petrol Subsidy Scheme

One of the foremost objective of launching Jharkhand Petrol Subsidy Scheme is to relief the debt of expensive price of petrol from the shoulders of poor citizens from the Jharkhand state. Mode of Direct Benefit Transfer will be used for transferring the amount of subsidy to the bank account of applicant.

The other objective of starting Petrol Subsidy Scheme is to provide subsidy of Rs. 25 per liter (Rs. 250) to the beneficiary’s bank account. This scheme is very beneficial for ration card holders as well as 2 wheeler vehicle holders. For facilitating the application procedure, app has also been launched by the CM.

Launching Of Mobile App

The Chief Minister of Jharkhand has also launched a mobile app with the name of CMSUPPORTS app in order to bring convenience among the applicants for applying online under this scheme by using their mobile phones. This app can used to do online registration as well as for the purpose of verification process.

Subsidy On Fuel Price

By applying under this scheme, all the card holders will be able to get subsidy on the petrol rate provided by the Government. Government will offer Rs. 25/L on petrol price to the applicant. For one month, amount of Rs. 250 will be given to the applicant. For one month, they will be able to save money for 10 liters which is sufficient for running a vehicle.

For the successful implementation of this scheme, government has allocated an amount of Rs. 901.86 crores. Then you will land on the homepage of this site.
There will be many links which will be shown running displayed on your screen.
Click on the link of Click To Download CM-SUPPORTS APP (Petrol Subsidy).
Then you will be redirected to the playstore.
Just click on the install button.
After downloading, click on the open.
App will get opened on your mobile phone.
Make your registration by entering all the asked details in it.
You will get registered after getting verified which is based upon Aadhar based authentication.

Through RCMS Portal

For making registration through RCMS portal, the applicant will need first to visit the Official Website of Ration Card Management System Portal.
Then tap on the login option.
After that you will be able to see the login form in front of your screen.
At the time of filling login form, you can enter your registered Ration Card ID.
Then enter your Ration Card Number.
Now will have to choose Ration Card Type.
Here you will need to enter the last 8 digits of the Aadhar Card number in the password column.
Now enter Login option.
Click on the Apply For Petrol Subsidy. This option will only appear if you have Green or Pink Ration Card.
After clicking on this option, enter all the asked details in it.
Now apply for user verification.
