Ayushman Card 2024

Recently Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji has released Ayushman Golden Card to those who have been selected as eligible beneficiaries. Objectives of PM Ayushman Card

One of the foremost objective of providing Ayushman Bharat Golden Card to the citizens so that they will be able to access the cashless treatment under any empanelled hospital without making any registration just by showing this card to them. Government has also released the names of eligible beneficiaries in the list of beneficiaries.

Other objective of launching the Ayushman Card is to bring convenience while getting free treatment in any hospital. At the time of rendering treatment services, hospital staff can verify their details available on this card. After making verification process, treatment services will be provided to the applicant. Cashless treatment of Rs. 5 lakhs will be given.

Availability Of Healthcare Services

National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stroke has allocated Rs. 561178.07 lakhs for the establishment of NCD Clinics at the district level. Around 187 cardiac care, 266-day care centres, 5392 NCD Clinics have been opened at the district level. Under these care centres, treatment for non-communicable diseases will also be provided.

Special Program Organized In Haryana

A special program has been organized by the Government of Haryana on 20 September 2021 in order to make aware of the launching of the Ayushman Bharat Card. Through this program, citizens of Haryana will be made aware to get their Ayushman Card by visiting Atal Seva Kendra or under any empanelled government hospital.

Verification Process

Through the Ayushman Bharat Campaign that was recently started by the Government, a verification process will be carried out in order to verify those applicants who have applied for this card. Around 9 lakhs of beneficiaries have been verified on 25^th March 2021. Applicants can also get this golden card by visiting the CSC Center which will be free of cost.

Charges For Getting Ayushman Card

Government has not kept any charges for getting Ayushman Golden Card. At the time availing this card, the applicant will need to pay just an amount of Rs. 30. This amount has only to be paid by visiting Common Service Centre. The government has kept this charge very low so that the poor people will be able to afford this charge.

Benefits of PM Ayushman Card 2024

The benefits of this card are as given below: –

One of the primary benefit of this card is that applicants will be able to get treatment under any empanelled hospital just by showing this card to the hospital staff.
For getting Ayushman Card, applicant will have to pay only Rs. 30 by visiting the common service center.
Beneficiaries will need first to check their name in the list of eligible beneficiary, after then they can avail this card.
Eligible beneficiaries can get this card by visiting Common Service Center.
Cashless treatments of Rs. 5,00,000 will be provided to the applicant.
Many healthcare centers have been opened at the district level under NPCDCS.
Treatment of non communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancers and hypertension will also be provided under these healthcare centers.
Special campaigns have also been organized at the various states for making awareness about PM Ayushman Bharat Golden Card.
This card will cater the interests of poor and economical weaker background people.
Applicant can also get the duplicate form of this card at the cost of Rs. 15/-.
Beneficiaries’ can also go for PVC Card.
By showing this card to the hospital staff, you can get treatment of 1350 no. of disease.
In order to provide financial aid for the beneficiaries, NHA has been tied with CSC.
Pre and post hospitalization services will also be given to the patient.

This card has been launched under the supervision of PM Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
Name of this card is Ayushman Bharat Golden Card.
A provision has been made by the government to give 5 lakhs of cashless treatment to the beneficiary.
Government has allocated Common Service Center for providing this card.
Less charge has been kept by the government for availing this card.
The Central Government will be responsible for paying medical charges, expenses of medical treatment, health treatment etc.
In order to expand the services of cashless treatment, NPCDCS have establish various healthcare centers at the district level as per follows: –
- 187 cardiac care
- 266 day care centers
- 5392 NCD Clinics
The applicant will only need to pay Rs. 30 at the time of getting Ayushman Card.
Government has also organized Ayushman Bharat Campaign for the verification process.
Around 6 states have been covered for the verification process such as Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Punjab, Uttra Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Haryana.

15 days of pre-hospitalization services as well post-hospitalization services will be given to the beneficiary.
