Objectives Of Ration Card list CG 2023

One of the foremost and main objective of launching the Chhattisgarh Ration Card List is to provide help and support to the poor families who have faced a lot of financial difficulties during the pandemic of the corona-19 virus. During the corona-19 virus, the government has put lockdown across the regions of India. Essential services were getting restricted because there was the prohibition of getting access to public areas.

Another objective of the CG Ration Card List is to provide a list of all those eligible ration cardholders who have recently applied for the ration card in return for purchasing food items at a less price as compared to the original rate of the food product. Income Is The Criteria

Income is the basic criteria that has been kept by the government while providing a ration card to each applicant. There are 3 categories of the ration card fixed by the government: – AAY, BPL, APL. Income may be varying from one card to another card. On the basis of the income of the ration cardholder, he/she will be allotted a specific ration card.

Types Of Ration Card

There are 3 types of ration card are as follows: –

APL (Above Poverty Line) Ration Card	BPL ( Below Poverty Line) Ration Card	AAY Ration Card
APL Ration Card will be given to those applicants whose family income is less than 1 lakh. Concessional rates will be offered to them for purchasing 15 KGS of food items.	BPL Ration Card will be given to those applicants whose family income from all sources is 10,000. Concessional rates will be offered to them for purchasing 25 KGS of food items.	AAY Ration Card will be given to those applicants who fall under the Below Poverty Line. They will be given 35 KGS of food items at the concessional rate.
