Rajasthan Chiranjeevi Yojana 2024

Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri. Ashok Gehlot Ji has launched Chiranjeevi Scheme for the citizens of Rajasthan so that poor family groups will be able to take treatment at the time of need without suffering from financial difficulties. Treatment of various diseases will be provided to the patient after applying under this scheme.

Rajasthan Chiranjeevi Scheme has been launched under the Government of Rajasthan. After applying under this scheme, applicants will get hospitalization services free of cost. They will not need to pay any money for getting treatment under any empanelled hospital. Treatment fees will be reimbursed by the government. The government will make sure that no one will be deprived of this facility.

Objectives Of Rajasthan Chiranjeevi Scheme 2024

One of the foremost objective of launching the Chiranjeevi Yojana is to provide cashless treatments and medical cover insurance to those families who can’t avail themselves the medical services as well as treatments for their serious illnesses due to financial difficulties. This scheme has been specially launched for providing financial support for taking treatment to poor citizens of the state.

Another objective of launching the Rajasthan Chiranjeevi Scheme is to reduce the mortality rate of the citizens who have died due to not taking treatment at a time. So this scheme will put emphasis on providing treatment and medical services at a time. Cashless treatment of Rs. 5 lakhs will be given to each eligible beneficiary.

Around 1 Crore Of Applicants Have Got Benefit

It will be surprising for you to know that around 1 crore of applicants have filed their application under this scheme out of which only about 7,41,000 applicants have been able to get benefit after getting verified by the authorized supervision authorities. They have been selected after fulfilling all the eligibility criteria.

Special Campaign

For spreading awareness about this scheme, the government is soon going to organize a special campaign in which all the eligible applicants will be allowed to get applied under this scheme. Concerned authorities will be taken care of that no one will get left for getting benefit under this scheme. 

Budget Of Rajasthan Chiranjeevi Scheme 2024

The government of Rajasthan has allocated Rs. 3500 Crores for the successful implementation of Rajasthan Chiranjeevi Yojana, so that the proper management will be taken place while providing free of cost treatment facilities to each patient. Soon public health colleges will be started go set up in the allocated divisional headquarters.

Amount Of Premium

It is mandatory for each applicant to pay the amount of premium for getting cashless treatment of Rs. 5 lakhs. All they need is just to do pay or deposit 50% of the insurance premium amount which is Rs. 850. The applicant will need to deposit Rs. 850 annually. Only after paying the amount of premium annually, they will be considered as an applicant of this scheme.

Providing Rs. 500 Per Registration

 The applicant will be able to get Rs. 500 provided by the government if there will be a registration done by the family which is consisted of 5 members. If there are more than 5 members who have done registration, they will not get this amount despite this they will have to pay an amount of Rs. 100 for per family.

Addition Of 18 Medical Packages

Within launching this scheme, government has made provisions to add more 18 medical packages in the empanelled hospital under this scheme. If the packages will increase, the rate charged on them will also be increased. Some of the packages included under this scheme are as follows: –

• Abdominal Scan
• Erythropoietin Injection
• Hemodialysis

Organizing Health Camps

On 14^th November 2021, government is going to organize a health camp in each Gram Panchayat. It has been initiated that 2 to 3 camps will be held every week in each block of the Gram Panchayat. Patients above the age of 30 years will be given medical diagnoses under this camp.

Expenses Of Pre And Post Hospitalization Services

This information has been received by the government resources that the expenses spent for getting pre-hospitalization and post-hospitalization services will also be covered and reimbursed by the government itself. For this, the patient will not have to pay the expense for hospitalization services. Small and Marginal farmers will also be covered.

Free Treatment Of Black Fungus And Covid-19

Government has also made this mandatory to provide free of cost treatment to the patients of Black Fungus and Covid-19. Now after the addition of this information, eligible applicants will be able to get themselves treatment of covid-19 and black fungus. The patients will not have to pay any charges for getting treatment of these infections.

Extension of Registration Process

The government has taken the decision to extend the tenure or time period of the registration process till 1 month more so that the left out applicants will be able to get themselves registration. The time period for the registration process has been extended by the government due to the second wave of covid-19 because many people could not be able to get registration.

Increase In The Rate Of Covid-19 Treatment

New rate has been fixed by the government for getting treatment of Covid-19. Now the revised rate is Rs. 9900 per day. If we see the past rate of covid-29 treatment then it is Rs. 2000 to 4000 per day. Rate for this treatment has been increased due to the addition of 2 packages to covid-19 treatment.
