About Pedalandariki Illu Scheme 2024
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched Pedalandariki Illu Scheme. Under this scheme free of cost houses will be provided to each eligible beneficiary who belong to the Economic Weaker Section of the state. By applying under this scheme all the poor people will be able to get the quality house for their living.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the AP YSR Pedalandariki Illu Scheme under which all the eligible beneficiaries who belong to the EWS section can apply under this scheme for availing the benefit of getting free of cost houses constructed by the government. A target of constructing 15 lakh of houses has been fixed by the government.

Objectives of Pedalandariki Illu Scheme 2024
The basic objective of launching the Pedalandariki Illu Scheme is to distribute free of cost houses to all the poor citizens of the state so that they will be able to live in quality houses rather than staying in kutcha houses while facing a lot of difficulties for searching themselves a shelter. This scheme is only applicable to EWS and poor citizens.

Implementation Of AP Housing Scheme
Chief Minister Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has implemented this scheme in 2 phases. Working on constructing houses in the first phase will be started on 25 December 2020. In the first phase, around 15 lakhs of houses will be constructed. Working on phase 2 will start on June 2023. In the second phase, a target of constructing 13 lakh approx houses has been set up.
Division Of Construction Work
Under the implementation, AP Housing Scheme Chief Minister has distributed the working of constructing homes in the 2 phases. In the first phase, 15.60 lakhs of houses have been constructed at the cost of Rs. 50,940 cores. Under the second phase, around 12.70 lakhs of houses will be constructed. Rs. 28000 crores of the budget will be allocated for the second phase.
