Objectives of PM Ayushman Card
One of the foremost objective of providing Ayushman Bharat Golden Card to the citizens so that they will be able to access the cashless treatment under any empanelled hospital without making any registration just by showing this card to them. Government has also released the names of eligible beneficiaries in the list of beneficiaries.
Other objective of launching the Ayushman Card is to bring convenience while getting free treatment in any hospital. At the time of rendering treatment services, hospital staff can verify their details available on this card. After making verification process, treatment services will be provided to the applicant. Cashless treatment of Rs. 5 lakhs will be given.
Availability Of Healthcare Services
National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stroke has allocated Rs. 561178.07 lakhs for the establishment of NCD Clinics at the district level. Around 187 cardiac care, 266-day care centres, 5392 NCD Clinics have been opened at the district level. Under these care centres, treatment for non-communicable diseases will also be provided.
Special Program Organized In Haryana
A special program has been organized by the Government of Haryana on 20 September 2021 in order to make aware of the launching of the Ayushman Bharat Card. Through this program, citizens of Haryana will be made aware to get their Ayushman Card by visiting Atal Seva Kendra or under any empanelled government hospital.
Verification Process
Through the Ayushman Bharat Campaign that was recently started by the Government, a verification process will be carried out in order to verify those applicants who have applied for this card. Around 9 lakhs of beneficiaries have been verified on 25th March 2021. Applicants can also get this golden card by visiting the CSC Center which will be free of cost.

Charges For Getting Ayushman Card
Government has not kept any charges for getting Ayushman Golden Card. At the time availing this card, the applicant will need to pay just an amount of Rs. 30. This amount has only to be paid by visiting Common Service Centre. The government has kept this charge very low so that the poor people will be able to afford this charge.
