Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana 2024

State Government of Delhi has launched Delhi Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana for the support of students so that the students from the categories of SC, ST and OBC will be encouraged to further study despite of facing their financial difficulties. Financial assistance of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 10,000 will be provided to the eligible student from class 9^th to 12^th.

Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister of Delhi Shri. Arvind Kejriwal. Under this scheme encouragement for pursuing studies to the financially weak students from the SC/ST and OBC category will be given. Objectives Of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana 2024

One of the foremost objective of launching Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scheme is to bring improvement in the condition of education in Delhi state by bringing huge amount of participation of the students in the education sector. For this government will provide financial assistance to the students of classes from 9^th to 12^th standards.

Other objective of launching Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is to empower the students from the financially weaker background so that they will be able to pursue their studies; means financial difficulty will not become an obstacle in the way of their grasping education facilities. For the successful implementation of this scheme, government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 150 crores.

Budget Of Expenditure

Within launching this scheme State Government of Delhi has also set some budget so that the smooth working as well as implementation for providing incentives to the beneficiaries will take place. An amount of Rs. 150 crores of budget has been approved by the Delhi Government. With this allocated amount of budget, students will be provided with the amount of benefit.

Category Of Beneficiaries

For providing financial assistance to the students, government has also set some categories for those students who will be able to get benefit under this scheme. Benefit of this scheme will only be provided to those students who are pursuing classes from 9^th standard to 12^th standard and they also belong to the categories of SC/ST/OBC.

50 % To 60 % Minimum Marks Is Must

For getting financial assistance provided by the Government under this scheme, the student will need to secure some good or minimum marks in their respective classes which will be serve as eligibility criteria. Student from the class 9^th or 10^th must secure 50% of minimum marks and student from the class 11^th and 12^th must secure 60% of minimum marks.

Amount of Benefit

The amount of benefit which will be provided to each applicant will vary from their class standard. Those students who are studying or pursuing their classes from 9^th to 10^th standard will be provided with Rs. 5000 directly transferred to their bank accounts. Rs. 1000 will be given to those students who are studying in classes from 11^th and 12^th.
