Chief Minister of Uttrakhand Shri. Trivendra Singh Rawat Ji has launched Uttrakhand Atal Ayushman Scheme for the citizens of Uttrakhand so that poor family groups will be able to take treatment at the time of need without suffering from financial difficulties. For the proper implementation of this scheme, many government and private hospitals have been empanelled.
Atal Ayushman Yojana has been launched under the State Government of Uttrakhand. By applying under this scheme, poor citizens will be able to get free of cost treatment by availing of the golden card which will be issued by the Government after making the verification process. Around 175 no. of government and private hospitals have been registered under this scheme.

Objectives of Uttrakhand Atal Ayushman Scheme 2024
One of the foremost objective of launching Atal Ayushman Yojana is to provide cashless treatments and medical cover insurance to those families who can’t avail themselves the medical services as well as treatments for their serious illness due to financial difficulties. This scheme has been specially launched for providing financial support for taking treatment to poor citizens of the state.
Another objective of launching the Atal Ayushman Scheme Uttrakhand is to reduce the mortality rate of the citizens who have died due to not taking treatment at a time. So this scheme will put emphasis on providing treatment and medical services at a time. Cashless treatment of Rs. 5 lakhs will be given to each eligible beneficiary.
Around 27,112 Cancer Patients Got Treatment
Within launching this scheme, many citizens have been able to get their treatment under empanelled hospitals. If we see a figure of cancer patients who have to get cured by taking treatment will be 27,112. Around 27,112 no. of patients have been able to get their treatment of cancer disease. The government has sanctioned 50 crores of outlay for treatment purposes.
Special Campaign
In order to make awareness about the issuance of the golden card, the government has also started a special campaign on January 25. This campaign has been specially started for providing golden cards to the eligible applicants at their convenience. One can easily get this card by visiting this campaign. Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must possess the following mentioned criteria for applying under Atal Ayushman Yojana:-
- This scheme is only applicable for the citizens of Uttrakhand.
