YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2024
The State Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched YSR Cheyutha Scheme, especially for the vulnerable women groups belonging to SC, ST, OBC and other minorities. The government will provide Rs. 18750 per year to the applicant by directly transferring the amount of benefit. The age limit of the women must be from 45 to 60 years.
AP Cheyutha Scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister through video conferencing at the Tedepelli district in Amaravati. The government has sanctioned Rs. 6300 crores of budget for the implementation of this scheme. This would provide employment opportunities to the women groups working under SHG. Widows and unmarried women will be covered under this scheme from the age group of 45 to 60 years.

Objectives Of YSR Cheyutha Scheme AP
The foremost objective of launching the AP YSR Cheyutha Scheme is to upgrade the living standards of the women who belong to the age group 45 to 60 years. By applying under this scheme, women beneficiaries will be able to get pension incentives and may be able to develop further. The government will provide the benefit of this scheme for the next 4 years.
The other objective of starting the YSR Cheyutha Scheme is to support and empower the financial supporting opportunities of widowed and unmarried women. Rs. 18750 will be provided to the applicant per annum. The government has extended the duration of the benefit for 4 years. Covering SC, ST and OBC communities is the main focus of the government.
Budget Of YSR Cheyutha Scheme
The government of Andhra Pradesh has launched YSR Cheyutha Scheme on 12th August 2020. Within launching this scheme, Finance Minister B Rajendranath Reddy has allocated a state budget of Rs. 63000 crores for the successful working of this scheme. Each year Rs. 18750 will be provided to each eligible beneficiary. Women who come under the age group 45 to 60 years will be applicable for this scheme.
Benefitting Leftovers Of YSR Cheyutha Scheme
In order to provide the amount of benefit of this scheme to the leftovers of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has deposited an amount of Rs. 703 crores to 9.30 lakhs of leftover beneficiaries on 28th December 2021. This amount of benefit has been deposited by the Chief Minister from the camp office which is situated at Tadepalli district.
23 Lakhs Of Beneficiaries Got Benefit
On 22nd June 2021, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has transferred the amount of Rs. 15,000 to about 23 lakhs of beneficiaries’ bank accounts. About 4339.39 crores of budget have been disbursed by the Government. At every village special arrangements have been organized in Rythu Bharosa Centers for making active participation of the applicants.
2nd Installment of YSR Cheyutha Scheme AP
As this scheme is applicable for 4 years from the date of applying, the government has also released the amount of benefit under the 2nd instalment of this scheme. Around 2.72 lakhs of beneficiaries have been able to receive the amount of benefit under the 2nd instalment. Rs. 510 crores have been spent by the government for benefitting these applicants.
Implementation Procedure Of AP Cheyutha Scheme
A Memorandum of association has been signed in between the government and companies such as HUL, ITC and P&G during the presence of Chief Minister Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy on 3rd August 2020. Various officials were present during signing through the video conferencing. Marketing opportunities will be provided by the companies to women of the state.
Cattle Purchase
Under the provision of this scheme, the government will be going to provide cattle’s to the applicants so that they will be able to sell their milk products. An amount of 5386 crores of budget have been allocated for the purchase of cattle such as cows, buffaloes, goats and sheep. The government will distribute the cattle to the applicants before February 2021.
Procuring Grocery Shops
The government will soon be going to provide Grocery shops to the women by signing an agreement with the Amul, Reliance, P&G and ITC companies. A target of covering 78,000 beneficiaries has been set up. The government will spend an amount of Rs. 19000 crores for the next 4 years. Extra earning of Rs. 1000 will be earned by the beneficiary through this grocery shop.
